These terms cover how you may use our website. They're written to be readable, but they are a binding agreement. By using the Site, you agree to them.
This website, peaktherapyclinic.com (the "Site"), is operated by Peak Therapy Services PC ("Peak Therapy Services," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
The Site is information, not medical advice
The content on this Site, including blog posts, developmental milestones, and the "Does Your Child?" pages, is general information to help you decide whether to reach out. It is not medical, occupational therapy, or other professional advice, and it is not a substitute for evaluation or treatment by a qualified provider.
Reading the Site or contacting us through it does not create a provider–patient or therapist–client relationship. That relationship begins only after we've connected, completed intake, and agreed to provide services in writing. If you think your child has a medical or developmental concern, talk with a qualified professional. In an emergency, call 911.
Joining the waitlist and contacting us
Joining our waitlist or sending us a message is a request to be contacted. It does not guarantee an evaluation, an appointment, availability, or acceptance for services. We'll follow up based on our current openings and your child's needs. Services begin only after a separate agreement.
When you submit information through the Site, you agree it is accurate and that you have the authority to provide it, including on behalf of a child you are the parent or guardian of.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the Site lawfully and not to:
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site or its security;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site or our systems;
- Use the Site to harass, harm, or impersonate anyone;
- Copy, scrape, or republish our content except as allowed below.
Our content
The text, graphics, logos, brand name, tagline, and design on this Site are owned by Peak Therapy Services or used with permission, and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and share links to our pages, and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, sell, or use our content or brand for other purposes without our written permission.
Links to other sites
We sometimes link to outside resources for your convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices. Following an outside link is at your own risk.
No warranties
We work to keep the Site accurate and available, but we provide it "as is." We don't promise the Site will always be available, error-free, or current, and we disclaim warranties to the fullest extent the law allows. You're responsible for any decisions you make based on information on the Site.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Peak Therapy Services and its owners, clinicians, and staff will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site. This section is about the website. It does not limit any rights or protections that apply to the professional services we provide under a separate services agreement and applicable law.
Indemnification
You agree to hold harmless Peak Therapy Services from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site or your violation of these terms.
Changes to the Site and these terms
We may update, change, or remove parts of the Site at any time, and we may revise these terms. Changes take effect when posted, and the effective date above will be updated. Your continued use of the Site means you accept the current terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute relating to the Site will be handled in the state or federal courts located in San Joaquin County, California, and you agree to that venue.
