Real results.
From your home.
Many parents are surprised to learn that telehealth occupational therapy is just as effective as in-person care for most pediatric conditions — and in many ways, it's even better.
When children practice skills in their own home, with their own toys, in their own routine, the progress transfers faster and sticks longer. There's no adjustment period, no travel anxiety, and no scheduling around commutes.
Our telehealth OT program is designed from the ground up for children — engaging, interactive, and built around what your child loves.
Skills Transfer Faster at Home
Practicing in the real environment where skills need to be used means faster generalization and longer-lasting results.
No Commute, No Stress
No driving across town, no waiting rooms, no rushing. Sessions fit into your family's schedule naturally.
Available Anywhere in California
Whether you're in Sacramento, Stockton, Fresno, or a rural area with no local OT options — we can reach you.
Parents Are Part of Every Session
You watch, learn, and practice alongside your child — giving you tools to support them 24/7, not just in session.
Secure & HIPAA-Compliant
All sessions are conducted on a secure, private platform. Your child's privacy and your family's data are protected.

After each session we provide specific activities and strategies to practice during the week. Progress updates and open communication keep you informed every step of the way.
What you need to get started
Telehealth OT requires very little setup. If you have these four things, you're ready to begin.
- A device with a camera (phone, tablet, or laptop)
- Reliable internet connection
- A quiet space for your child to move
- Basic household items (toys, crayons, playdough)
Pediatric telehealth OT
serving all of California
Finding quality pediatric occupational therapy in California — especially in smaller cities and rural communities — has always been a challenge. Long waitlists, limited providers, and hours of driving keep too many children from getting the support they need.
Peak Therapy Services was built to change that. Our online pediatric OT program delivers the same expert care as in-person therapy through secure, engaging video sessions — accessible to any family in California with a device and an internet connection.
Telehealth OT for Families in Sacramento & the Central Valley
Based in Lodi, we serve as the Central Valley's telehealth pediatric OT specialists — reaching families in Sacramento, Stockton, Modesto, Fresno, and beyond who can't access in-person services locally or prefer the convenience of home-based care.
Is Telehealth OT Effective for Children?
Yes — and the research backs it up. Studies show that telehealth occupational therapy produces outcomes equivalent to in-person care for the majority of pediatric conditions. For skills practiced in the home environment — self-care, sensory regulation, feeding, and daily routines — online delivery can actually accelerate progress because skills are learned exactly where they need to be used.
Who Is Online OT Right For?
Telehealth OT is ideal for families who live far from our Lodi clinic, parents who prefer not to commute, children who respond well to their home environment, or families whose schedules make in-person sessions difficult. It is also a great option for early intervention where parent coaching is a central part of the program.

Questions about
telehealth OT?
Here are the questions we hear most from families considering online therapy. Don't see yours? Reach out — we love talking to parents.
Ask Us Directly →Is telehealth OT as effective as in-person therapy?
Yes — for most pediatric conditions, research shows telehealth OT produces outcomes equivalent to in-person care. For skills like self-care, feeding, and sensory regulation that are practiced at home, online delivery can actually speed up progress because skills are learned in the environment where they need to be used.
What technology do we need for sessions?
Any device with a camera and microphone — a smartphone, tablet, or laptop works great. You'll need a reliable internet connection and a space where your child can move around. We'll provide the platform link before each session. No special software to download.
Do you serve families outside Lodi and Stockton?
Absolutely. Our telehealth program serves families throughout California — Sacramento, Fresno, the Bay Area, rural communities, and everywhere in between. If you're in California and have an internet connection, we can work with your child.
Will my child actually engage in online therapy?
Most children engage remarkably well with telehealth — often better than parents expect. Our therapists are specifically trained in online delivery and use interactive games, videos, and activities designed for the screen. Sessions feel like play, not school.
Do you accept Regional Center funding for telehealth?
Regional Center funding currently covers in-person and home-based services. Telehealth coverage varies by Regional Center and individual authorization. Contact us and we'll help you navigate your specific funding situation — we accept private pay and are actively working to expand funding options for telehealth clients.
What ages do you serve via telehealth?
Our telehealth program serves children ages 3–18 throughout California. For children under 3, we recommend our home-based early intervention program where hands-on, in-person support is most effective for very young children.
What if my child won't sit still for online therapy?
This is one of the most common concerns parents have — and one of the most common surprises. Most children engage far better with telehealth than parents expect. Our therapists are specifically trained in online delivery and use movement breaks, interactive games, and hands-on activities designed to keep kids engaged. Sessions are structured to match your child's attention span, and we coach you in real time so you can help redirect when needed. A wiggly child is not a barrier to great therapy!
