School-Based Occupational Therapy Built for
Your District.
Peak Therapy Services provides expert pediatric occupational therapy contracting to school districts throughout the Central Valley — filling staffing gaps fast, supporting IEP compliance, and delivering measurable outcomes for your students.
IEP-Ready From Day One
Our therapists arrive ready to evaluate, document, and collaborate with your special education team. We know how districts work — and we work within your systems, not around them.
Central Valley Specialists
Based in Lodi — we're local. We understand the geography, the demographics, and the unique challenges of serving students across San Joaquin, Stanislaus, and Sacramento counties.
The OT staffing crisis is real — and growing.
California school districts are facing a severe shortage of qualified pediatric occupational therapists. The result: IEP timelines slip, compliance risk rises, and students wait. We exist to solve exactly that problem.
OT Vacancies Go Unfilled for Months
Districts post positions and wait. Meanwhile, students on IEPs go without mandated services — creating legal exposure and audit risk.
IEP Timelines at Risk
When OT services aren't delivered on schedule, districts face complaints, due process, and costly compensatory services. Compliance is non-negotiable.
Rural Districts Left Behind
Smaller Central Valley districts struggle to attract full-time OTs. Contracting provides access to experienced therapists without the recruitment burden.
Full-Time Hires Are Expensive
Salary, benefits, credentialing, and professional development add up. Contracting delivers the expertise without the overhead — billed only for services rendered.
Evaluation Backlogs
Psychoeducational assessments and OT evaluations pile up when staff are stretched thin. We provide targeted evaluation support to clear your backlog.
Inconsistent Coverage
Substitute OTs with no context about your students and systems create disruption. Peak Therapy provides consistent, relationship-based coverage.
Everything your district needs, covered.
We provide the full scope of school-based OT services — from initial evaluation through ongoing therapy — delivered by California-licensed occupational therapists who know the school environment.
OT Evaluations & Assessments
Comprehensive, IEP-compliant occupational therapy evaluations — fine motor, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, self-care, and functional academic skills. Reports delivered within district timelines.
Direct OT Services (IEP-Mandated)
Individual and small-group therapy sessions aligned with each student's IEP goals — delivered consistently, documented accurately, and reported in the format your district requires.
Consultation & Classroom Support
Collaborative consultation with teachers, aides, and special education staff — providing strategies, classroom modifications, and adaptive equipment recommendations without pulling students from instruction.
IEP Meeting Participation
Our therapists attend IEP meetings, present findings, collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, and help design service plans — as a full member of your special education team.
Sensory & Behavioral Support
Sensory processing evaluations and individualized sensory diet programs to support students with autism, ADHD, and sensory differences — helping them access the curriculum and thrive in the classroom.
Extended School Year (ESY) Coverage
Consistent, qualified OT coverage during summer and extended school year programs — so students with regression risk don't lose ground when the school year ends.
Not a staffing agency.
A therapy partner.
There's a meaningful difference between a staffing agency that places a body in a seat and a therapy company that takes clinical ownership of your students' outcomes. Peak Therapy Services is the latter.
We are a pediatric OT-only practice — not a general staffing company filling slots across disciplines. Every therapist we place is deeply experienced in school-based practice, knows how to navigate IEP systems, and stays for the long term.
We're also local — based right here in the Central Valley. When you need us, we're 30 minutes away, not flying in from another state.
Pediatric OT Specialists Only
We don't do adult rehab, PT, or speech. Every therapist we place has dedicated their career to pediatric occupational therapy — and it shows in outcomes.
Local & Reliable
Central Valley-based means no travel delays, no time zone issues, and a therapist who understands your community and your students' families.
IEP & Compliance Expertise
We know California special education law, IDEA requirements, and district documentation standards. You'll never have to re-do a report or re-explain a procedure.
Consistent Therapist Placement
We don't rotate therapists through your caseload. Your students build a therapeutic relationship — and your staff builds a working relationship — with one consistent professional.
Flexible Contracting Options
Full-year contracts, semester agreements, ESY-only, evaluation-only, or emergency gap coverage — we structure the engagement around what your district actually needs.

Contact Us →How quickly can you have a therapist on-site?
Typically within 1–2 weeks of contract signing — including credentialing and fingerprinting. For urgent situations, contact us directly and we'll tell you what's possible within 24 hours. Emergency gap coverage is one of our specialties.
Do your therapists know California special education law and IEP requirements?
Yes. All Peak Therapy therapists are trained in California IDEA implementation, special education timelines, IEP documentation standards, and SELPA requirements. We don't need to be trained on how your system works — we already know.
What are your billing and contract structures?
We offer flexible structures including full-year contracts, semester agreements, ESY-only, evaluation-only packages, and hourly emergency coverage. Billing can be structured per session, per student, or as a flat service agreement — whichever fits your district's purchasing process.
Can you provide OT evaluations only, without ongoing therapy?
Absolutely. Evaluation-only contracts are available for districts that need help clearing backlogs or completing triennials. We complete assessments, write IEP-compliant reports, and participate in the IEP meeting — your district handles ongoing services however works best.
Are your therapists employees or independent contractors?
Our therapists are Peak Therapy Services employees — not independently sourced contractors. This means consistent clinical oversight, liability coverage, and quality control. Your district contracts with one entity and holds one accountable party.
What documentation and reporting do you provide?
We provide session notes in your district's preferred format, monthly progress reports aligned with IEP goals, evaluation reports meeting California standards, and participation in all IEP meetings. We adapt to your documentation system — not the other way around.
Your students can't wait.
